Outside the Lifeguard Headquarters tower, where I do some of my work, we have a school of approx. 8 dolphins who pass by up and down the beaches a couple times a day. They will often come in close to the kids and swim among them. However, they can be a little scary as they're not the grey Flipper that we see on TV. Having them among us is like a security blanket, though, because they tend to keep the sharks away.

I hope to update mine as soon as my seasonal work with Jr. Lifeguards ends. As much as it will be nice to relax for a week before school starts, I hate to see the end of the busy running around I do for the program.
